SAIYYONI ORGANIC SAFFRON & SANDALWOOD MASK
*Note: On my 2025-2026 winter trip to Bangalore, I found out that the Organic Indian Sandalwood Powder was out of stock. Which I kinda expected because Indian Sandalwood is an endangered species and its harvest is tightly controlled by the Indian government. What does this mean for you? I only have 7 jars of Ishq Organic Indian Sandalwood-Saffron Mask. Once they're sold out- I don't know when they'll be back.*
Saiyyoni ( sigh-oh-nee) mask is a coming together of two exotic ancient ingredients – organic Indian sandalwood & organic saffron. These two ingredients benefit your skin helping to heal acne and scars while imparting anti-ageing properties. The fragrance is deeply sensual, woodsy with a hint of sweetness.
Saiyyoni, Urdu for ‘soulmate,’ unites two luxurious products to brighten, tighten, hydrate the skin, and fill your soul with goodness.
Ingredients:
Organic: South Indian Sandalwood powder, Kashmiri Saffron
Tips:
- Saiyyoni is a versatile mask - very calming & grounding. My go to mask for times when I feel unsettled, and my energy is all over the place. Use Saiyyoni on your chest & souls of feet - just like how Morning Dove of Coral Story Beauty is in the video
- Saiyyoni is excellent after sun care. She soothes sun burn & redness. Mix in a bit of yogurt for the extra boost of minerals
Sarah's Note :
Saiyyoni is one of my favorite Ishq products. I am from Southern India, and the scent of Sandalwood is home. We use it extensively - in incense sticks & in our skincare. I remember my Ammi telling me that she used to add a bit of Sandalwood oil in her bath water when she was a newly wed bride :)
Saiyyoni has organic South Indian Sandalwood powder. Sandalwood is an endangered species, and I get mine from a Government co-op in Bangalore, India. The state of Karnataka is very strict about the harvest of Indian Sandalwood, and the powder is available on during certain times. Which makes Saiyyoni a limited edition, available for purchase only from our website, or at in person markets.
Saffron reminds me of Indian weddings. It's a spice that is very expensive, and used only on special occasions. I am particular that the organic saffron I use in Saiyyoni be from Kashmir. Not only because it's one of the best places that grows Saffron, but also to bring attention to the Kashmiri fight for life & liberty.
